Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Food Run Technologies (“Food Run”, “we”, “us”), operating the Food Run marketplace in Pakistan. They apply to the Food Run mobile apps, website (foodrunpk.com), and related services (the “Services”).

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. The Services are not for children. Rider and vendor roles may require extra verification (KYC, store documents).

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time as described in Account deletion.

3. The marketplace

Food Run connects customers, riders, and vendors. We list products and process orders. Vendors prepare and pack items. Independent riders pick up and deliver. We are not the restaurant, shop, or employer of riders unless we say otherwise in writing.

4. Orders and payments

Prices, fees, and availability are shown at checkout. Cash on Delivery is the live checkout method today. Wallet and card checkout may be marked coming soon until payment partners go live. Refunds follow our Refund Policy and applicable law.

5. Riders and vendors

Riders are independent contractors, not employees of Food Run. You must follow local traffic and safety laws, keep valid documents where required, and complete deliveries honestly. Vendors must list accurate products, prices, and availability, and fulfil accepted orders. Earnings and commissions shown in the app may change with notice.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not misuse the platform, commit fraud, harass others, upload illegal content, tamper with the app, or use Food Run for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these Terms.

7. Location and notifications

Some features need location (nearby stores, dispatch, live rider tracking) and notifications (OTP, order status). You can refuse permissions, but those features will not work. Background location is intended for active rider deliveries.

8. Limitation of liability

The Services are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Food Run is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, except where Pakistani law does not allow that limit. We are not responsible for food quality issues caused solely by a vendor, or for traffic delays outside our control, except as set out in the Refund Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may also be shown in the app or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
